Throughout this project, I consistently kept my camera ready to capture intriguing textures and compositions. My primary objective was to convey the tactile essence of these textures to my audience. Employing a 1:1 frame maintained symmetry, ensuring the photo's impact remains consistent, regardless of the viewing orientation.
This was a self-learning and exploratory project where I wanted to capture textures without a macro lens.

Discovering Depth Beyond the Surface.

Lessons from Layers.
The interplay of light and shadow is crucial in translating 3D textures into a 2D format. Additionally, it is vital to strike a balance in post-production to prevent the loss of texture through excessive editing. From weathered surfaces to intricate patterns, this exploration deepened my appreciation for the tactile nuances that surround us.
